TSA ADDS CANADIAN
NEXUS TO PRECHECK
PASSENGER PARADISE Long Beach (Calif.) Airport in early December celebrated
the opening of a new passenger concourse, bringing the overall terminal area to 74,000
square feet. The concourse includes local retail outlets in the mix of concessions; a
consolidated security screening area; and a garden and palm court, among other features.

TSA announced the inclusion of
Canadian NEXUS members in TSA
PreCheck as part of the Beyond the
Border Action Plan.
Effective Nov. 15, 2012, Canadian
citizens traveling domestically in
the U.S. who are members of the
U.S. Customs and Border Protection
and Canada Border Services Agency
NEXUS program are eligible to
participate and may receive expedited
screening at participating U.S. airports.
In addition, passengers 12 and younger
are allowed through PreCheck lanes
with eligible passengers.
